JUELL FINNEGAN-FAYDOCK Obituary

FINNEGAN-FAYDOCK JUELL GLENN April 2, 1938 to August 31, 2010 Juell Glenn Finnegan-Faydock quietly passed from this life on August 31, 2010, after a long hard battle with cancer, with her loving twins Tevis Finnegan and Terese Quintanar by her side. In addition to her daughters, Juell also leaves one son, Sean Finnegan, husband of ten years James Faydock and three adorable grandchildren, Kaylee Juell Finnegan, Parker Reese Finnegan and Arianna Juell Quintanar. She was born Juell Glenn Chapman on April 2, 1938 in Inglewood to Reginald Eugene and Juell Elouise Chapman. She spent her childhood, along with her sister, Merry Jo Bertolucci and brother, Martin Chapman on the family ranch in Big Bear, California. This is also where her father established his second chinchilla ranch and named it after her: The Juell Glenn Chinchilla Ranch. She was active there in Rainbow Girls. She finished her last two years of high school at Rowland Hall School for Girls in Salt Lake City, Utah, class of 1957. She did her undergraduate studies at Pepperdine University and San Jose State University where she joined the Chi Omega Sorority and finished with a Masters of Psychology from Pepperdine University. She married Thomas Earl Finnegan in 1963 and moved to Vista, CA. She began her career working as a counselor for teen girls at the YMCA an also taught nurses how to council patients dealing with catastrophic surgeries. She worked in the office of Dr. Robert Nelson for many years before she joined the Vallecitos Water District. Her beautiful smile, cheerful laugh, and sweet demeanor will be missed by all who knew her. Donations may be made to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation or Hospice of the North Coast.
