I am sad beyond words and know many others fill the way I do, we will miss Kathleen so much and can't believe she is gone. I know the funeral will be something she would be happy with and I am so glad she will be with us in the columbarium in St Paul's Cathedral. I am so very sad but as Christians we know she is in a better place and we will see her again. Deedra - Friend

I have known Kathleen for about 40+ years and she was so cared for by all who knew her. I will always miss her and know she is looking down on us with that beautiful smile. With love, Lona Gray and family

Kathleen was my aunty. She was and shall always be an inspiration to me,one of my most vivid memories is watching her on one of her visits back to England doing her hair and making up her face. She once said that before she did something or went somewhere it never occured to her that something would go wrong, she was always so positive. I have spent hours listening to her telling me about her life both during the war, after, living in US with Uncle Bob. I will miss her beyond words but she is all around me every day. I love you Aunty and know you and Uncle Bob are looking down on me, all my love Laura Colmer, niece ,England.

Kathleen never had children but she was everyones mother. She was like a mother, grandmother, favorite Aunt, big sister, closest cousin, friend, and confidant to everyone who knew her. Thoroughly American, yet she always had a touch of regal majesty about her. She was our Queen Mum! She was the matriarch of an enormous family and we were all part of it.
Words fail me in knowing how to describe this wonderful woman and the feeling of loss so many must feel. We extend our sincere condolences to every member of her extended family.
Sincerely,
Dennis Engel
