LOYD REISOR Obituary

REISOR, LOYD "BUCK" Kanab, Utah - Loyd Gailen "Buck" Reisor died Friday, September 17, 2010 at his home in Kanab, Utah. He was born April 21, 1924 in Los Angeles, California to Jewel Arlene and Roy Gailen Reisor. He married Marie Severt Thompson, and was later divorced. They had two children. Buck worked as a house framer, later starting his own business, Buck Reisor Welding. He worked in metal fabrication on Chocolate summit on the land he loved. He enjoyed jeeping and riding his Harleys throughout Southern California. Buck moved to Kanab and married Susan Markham in 2003. He was instrumental in getting Kanab's Community Garden growing, worked on the new Cottonwood Trail parking, and donated to the building of the Bunting Trail parking and path. Survivors include his wife, Susan Markham; mother, Jewel Reisor; brother, Robert Reisor; daughter, Kimberly Heinz; son, Loyd (Donna) Reisor; stepson, Sladen D. Markham; grandchildren, Amber (Chris) Lunk, Kena Heinz, Melisa Reisor, Jessica Reisor, Slayden M. Markham, and Kelvert Dare Markham; and great-grandson Wesley Lunk. He was preceded in death by his father. Friends and family are welcome to come and celebrate Buck's life at his home on 1551 Stansfield Drive in Kanab, Utah, on Saturday, September 25, 2010 at 5:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Kanab City for benches in Buck's name. Cremation arrangements were made with Mosdell Mortuary.

I will never forget this man, we had some good times in High school and he was my Secret Love! I remember his Mom and Dad and I still talk to his Brother, Bob. So sorry for the family in this great loss.
