Mrs Riley was my kindergarten teacher in the late 60's. She was the kindest most wonderful woman. I would see her periodically throughout the years and she never failed to recognize me and ask about my grandmother (who raised me). She made my formative years of school more than pleasant. I loved her dearly and I'm so sorry for your loss.

Marlene was a delight to be around. Her sense of humor would cut through any feeling of trouble. Even to the end, she had a fun, funny way of looking at things.
I am grateful to have had her as a part of our church.

Marlene, you were such an inspiration to all of us in the The Lunch Bunch..... a group of long lasting friendships formed from a research group for Fibromyalgia (FMS. We loved your stories of your travels and your dancing partnerships and friendships and your stamina. We are so grateful that you 'shared' your wonderful long time friend, Bill Gilmore, with all of us and allowed us to share his 100 birthday with y'all. You greatly enriched our lives and set an excellent example for each of us of how we all want to be when we reach your age. We love you and will miss you very much. Fly free to the Great Spirit, my friend, and hurt no more...I love you, Jan.
My condolences to your loving family. I will miss her very much. Jan

Marlene will be missed by The Lunch Bunch group, which she was a part of for over eleven years. Marlene was an inspiration to me, with her positive attitude and her infectious laugh. I know she suffered greatly from her ilness in the past years, but she faced her pain with grace and dignity. We are all better off for having known her. My condolences to her family.
