Marty came to our last high school reunion, which was at our 35th one year ago. He was the fun loving guy that we all remembered from school. A great way to leave his memory. It was with great sadness when we saw his obituary in the paper.
He will always be remembered for his wonderful "dash" in life (what a great poem!), services were great and he would be so proud of his family. My thoughts and prayers to his family and friends that were a part of his life. He left us with wonderful memories! We will miss him..

Few people in this world are looked upon as totally put together. Marty was one of the few; one of the most put-together individuals I had ever encountered.
His heart was always in the right place. He was a man who always had the very best of intentions for his employees, and, along with his business partners, he helped create a working environment that is the most pleasant I have ever known. I am enriched by having known him.
My heart goes out to every member of his family and his close friends. Your grief, and your sense of loss, must have no measure.

Marty and I were classmates in the Accounting program at USD, and my wife and I had the pleasure of attending Marty & Norma's wedding. Over the years, we spoke on the phone occasionally or saw each other at events such as birthday luncheons for Professor Ethel Sykes. What always amazed me was that even though it might have been years since we had last spoken or seen each other, Marty always remembered our last conversation and continued it as if those years had never passed.

Marty and I were classmates from elementary thru high school. He was always such a happy and amusing guy. We worked together organizing the Latin Club's Roman Banquet in 1972-74. I wanted to add the picture we took in our toga's but couldn't find it, but recall the fun we all had with our catapult competitions and our Roman feast. I last saw Marty at the 10th reunion and wondered what he was up to all these years. I am so very sorry you have lost him. I'm sure he brought lots of happiness to those around him.

Marty and I went to Madison High School together and graduated in 1974. He was on our committee for our 10 year reunion. I recently have been in touch with him and his wife as he became a patient of ours. I send my sympathies to his wife and family.

Marty was a mentor to me in the early 1980's. We were both in our early 20's. He was a co-worker of mine. Even though he was only one year older than I he always found a way to tell me how good my work was.He was always a positive thinking man. He was very professional. Marty helped me understand business. He gave me some of the knowledge I use today running my own business. He was so proud of his family. Sending my deepest sympathies to all of Marty's family and friends. John Eckard
