MICHAEL PRATT Obituary

PRATT, MICHAEL ALLEN April 5, 1942 to October 30, 2010 Mike was born and raised in San Diego. Graduate of Helix High School Class of 1960. One of his greatest joys since childhood was hunting with his Pops, Maurice Pratt. He was an original member of the Desert Knights Buggy Club, Glamis being his playground. He was a well known driver for Atlas Van Lines for over 20 years. Mike enjoyed living on his mountain "off the grid" with his devoted companion Blacko for an amazing 13 years. A friendship with Mike Pratt was genuine and undeniable. We are all blessed to have been part of his life. We thank you for our wonderful memories and the lessons you leave us with. Mike will be sadly missed by his children Sherri Marmo, Michele Dublin, Robert Taliaferro and Sandra Pratt, his seven grandchildren, his two great-grandchildren and his many friends. He was welcomed into Heaven by his eighth grandchild John. A celebration of his life will be held Sunday, November 28, 2010 at the V.F.W. Hall on 136 Chambers St., El Cajon at 1:00 p.m. Legacy Funeral & Cremation www.legacyfuneralcare.com

Sherri and Shelly I was sorry to read about your dad. You guys probably don't remember me, but my mother (Rose Smith) was a friend of your mom's. I know how you feel. My dad died on 12/7/01. Keep all of your happy memories in your heart and he will be with you always.
