In looking for old friends in SD and specifically Roger this is what I found and I am saddened beyond words. Roger was the best and most loyal friend I could have asked for. It has been my loss that life has caused us to lose contact with each other. I can say that Roger has EARNED his place in heaven and is now enjoying his peace. My prayers are for his family.

Roger ust wanted to come home to San Diego...and stay withe Mom. Roger was around much longer than anyone expected because of his strong will to live and all the love he received from his family and his SD Hospice Team, NE Indigo.

Those last weeks, as Roger's body was slowly giving out on him... his mind was still pretty sharp... always thinking of things to do and things to say even if it was just to gripe of all the women chattering all around him (his sisters... not me!)!

I hope the wonderful memories you have of Roger will help ease your grief... bring a smile to your face... and much laughter to your day.

God has called you home Roger...
with much love, Elvira

Dear Bernabe family,

Roger was an old high school mate that I always appreciated being around. Sadly, we lost track of each other along time ago. It's great to see the pictures of him that you've posted. I am very sorry for your loss, I've no doubt he will be missed by many.
