On Saturday I will walk in the "Light the Night" walk to bring awareness to Leukemia and to raise money for research. My team, "Gemma's Mafia" has raised $5,000. I walk to honor my dear mentor, Tom, who was so incredibly kind to me as I participated in the same clinical trial with him. As a "newbie", he showed me the ropes and made me feel more comfortable. I will never forget Tom Tuttle!

My Dearest Marge, Shirley, Carol and family,

My heart is broken learning the news of Tom’s passing. Sal and I both enjoyed his company and many family get togethers, during past years. Our connection was always our love of family, Bobby Sox, BBQ’s and plenty of parties. Tom was many things to all; he was wise, warm, everything good and gracious. He was a classy guy who leaves a legacy of being a good husband, father, and friend that no one will ever forget. Your loss is immeasurable, however, your source of strength will come from your wonderful family, your infinite love, and secure respect you share for one another. Always remember my friends, shared grief halves the sorrow. May God prosper you all with his love, as we pray for peace and less suffering.

Your affectionate friend, Carol Solimine

Our family will feel a great loss without Tom in our lives. After having the pleasure of getting together with Tom and Margi, my husband would comment what a wonderful world it would be if we were all like Tom. In the face of adversity he was always positive, brave and a pleasure to be around. Tom will always be a hero in our eyes. He will be greatly missed. We loved him and all of his family. My thoughts and prayers are with them. Rest in Peace Tom.
