WILLIAM C. MAYS

MAYS, WILLIAM C. Born: March 26, 1921 Died: September 28, 2010 He was married to Martha E. Dunlap for 65 years and Marie Hane for five years. He is survived by his second wife, seven children, seven grandchildren, and 16 great -grand children. Bill started his working life as a carpenter but felt called to the ministry and became a pastor in the Covenant church. He built churches in California and Oregon over thirty years before pursuing a successful career with the Equitable Life Assurance Society. He received his bachelors in psychology from Pasadena City College. Music was one of his great joys, playing the accordion, guitar, piano, and trombone. He also spent much time on his computer, emailing and talking to people around the world. His memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 2, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at the Bailey Center, MMCV (619-479-4790), 325 Kempton Street, Spring Valley, CA 91977.
