Grandpa,
In the days since your passing, I have been thinking about the little things that you said to me over my life, the little tidbits of knowledge that I gained from you. I hated watching you suffer so much this last month, or that you suffered at all. I am so very glad that we, as a family, had the opportunity to share the time that we did with you, caring for you. I wouldn't trade that for anything. I love you, I miss you so much it hurts. We will be okay, but things won't be the same without you around. Who will I chase down the sidewalk? Who am I going to eat blueberry yogurt with? Who will watch the history channel with me? You will always be with me.
