another Angel
REIDSVILLE, GA - Daniel Gene Bottoms, born 27 December 1959 in Pana, Ill., son of John T. Bottoms & Leatta (Lee) Bottoms, passed over after a long battle with cancer.
Dan, formerly of Ashland and Jerseyville, Ill., was a long-distance truck driver for many years. He was living in Reidsville, Ga., at the time of his death.
He leaves behind his mother, Leatta Lee Bottoms of Springfield, Ill.; three brothers: John Bottoms of Midway, Ga., Earl (Martha) Bottoms of Paducah, Ky., and Terry (Linda) Bottoms of Wichita, Kan; five sisters: Shareena McKinney (John) of Springfield, Ill., Julie Arnold (Ron) of Reidsville, Ga., Shirley Southerland (Terry) of Wichita, Kan., Leanna Bounsana (Andy) of Wichita, Kan., and Janet Cook (Mike) of Lodgepole, Neb.; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Donald Bottoms; father, John T. Bottoms; grandparents, Amanda & Gilbert Bottoms; and a sister-in-law, Tommie Neth Bottoms.
Dan will be shown Wednesday, May 8, 2013, from 2-4 p.m. at Bradley Anderson Funeral Home in Reidsville, Ga., with cremation rites to follow. Then, per his wishes, his ashes will be spread in the ocean.
