Bonnie F. Blakley
PORTAGE, MI - Bonnie F. Blakley, 85, passed away Wednesday afternoon, Oct. 23, 2013.
Bonnie was born July 8, 1928, in Springfield, Ill., the daughter of the late Benjamin and Hattie (Ross) Tipps. She enjoyed crocheting, baking, and spending time with her family. On June 27, 1953, she was united in marriage to her loving husband of 60 years, Kenneth Blakley, who survives.
Also surviving are her sons, Kenneth (Susan) Blakley and David (Nancy) Blakley; five grandchildren: Candice, Rachelle, Megan, Stephen, and Amanda; eight great-grandchildren; a sister, Norma Clark; and many nieces and nephews.
Bonnie was preceded in death by a grandson, Kenneth Steven Jr.; and seven brothers and sisters.
A graveside service will be held at 11:30 a.m., Monday, Oct. 28, 2013, at the Mt. Ever-Rest Cemetery Chapel.
Memorials may be directed to Kalamazoo Missionary Church, or St. Catherine of Siena.
