LeMASTERS, Mark A. - Springfield  
SPRINGFIELD - Mark A. LeMasters, 53, died at 9:17 p.m., Tuesday, August 25, 2015, at St. John's Hospice. He was born January 2, 1962, in Springfield, to Kenneth and Mary Beja LeMasters. He married Edie Hinkle on September 13, 1980 and she survives. Mark was a self-employed concrete finisher and owned and operated Mark LeMasters Concrete. Also surviving are one son, Jason (Kayla) LeMasters of Springfield; one daughter, Kaitlyn LeMasters of Springfield; mother, Mary LeMasters of Springfield; two sisters, Lorraine Downey of Springfield and Sharon (Randy) Sallee of South Carolina; three brothers, Ron LeMasters and Gary LeMasters, both of Springfield, and Bobby (Terri) LeMasters of Sherman; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father and brother-in-law, Robert Downey. Memorial Gathering: 3-6 p.m., Friday, August 28, 2015, at Staab Funeral Home. LONGHTA, Tove (Olsen) - Springfield  
PINEHURST, NC - Tove (Olsen) Longhta, 79, went home to be with her Lord on Sunday, Aug. 16, 2015, at her home in the presence of her husband and children. A celebration of her life will be held at 3 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 22, 2015, at The Village Chapel in Pinehurst. The family will receive friends at a reception in Chapel Hall following the service. Tove was married to her husband, Roy, nearly 60 years. She leaves her wonderful memories to her loving husband; her three children and their spouses: Lisa and Don Fields of Akron, Ohio, Sonja and Bruce Boettcher of Chicago, Ill., and Tom and Janelle Longhta of Tampa, Fla.; eight grandchildren; and one granddaughter-in-law. She also leaves one brother, Arne Olsen of Copenhagen, Denmark; one sister, Sonja Randall of Vancouver, Canada; two sisters-in-law in Springfield, Ill.; plus several nieces and nephews. Tove was born in Copenhagen, Denmark. She lived and was educated in Denmark and moved to the United States in 1955. She married Roy in 1956 in Springfield, Ill. Tove chose a life of being a loving wife and mother, always putting her family before herself. Tove and Roy retired to Pinehurst in 1996 from Hartford, Conn. She loved her church family, her Lord, and served in many outreach ministries at The Village Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in her name to: The North Carolina Cancer Society, and The Village Chapel, 10 Azalea Rd., Pinehurst, NC 28374. Boles Funeral Home of Pinehurst is serving the family.
