WALCHER, Dorothy Louise - Springfield  
Dorothy Louise Walcher SPRINGFIELD, IL - Dorothy Louise Walcher, 95, of Springfield, passed away Wednesday Nov. 19, 2014, at Oak Terrace Healthcare. She was born Oct. 26, 1919, in Monmouth, IL to Lee and Alberta Mace Caldwell. She married Edwin A. Walcher Jr., in 1945 and he preceded her in death on April 9, 1998. She is survived by two daughters: Carole Lee Walcher of Glenshaw, PA, and Marilyn Jean (Thomas) Weber of Chesterfield, IL. She was preceded in death by one sister, Margaret Hector, and one brother, Lynton Caldwell. Dorothy worked for the corn products company that was developing instant pudding during WWII. She bred, raised, and exhibited Arabian Show Horses throughout the country and she was very proud of her current Arab Champion, Shenanigans Too, who has several U.S. National Top Ten Titles. Mrs. Walcher enjoyed riding and attending horse shows with her two daughters, attending dog shows with her daughter, Carole, and traveling. She was a member of the Arabian Horse Show Association, the United States Equestrian Federation, The United States Dressage Federation, Arab Inc., Center Line Dressage, and she was a longtime supporter of the Midwest Charity Horse Show. WHITE, Doris Faye - Mechanicsburg  
Doris Faye White ROCHESTER, IL - Doris Faye White, 85, of Rochester, and formerly of Mechanicsburg, Ill., died Friday, Dec. 12, 2014 at Memorial Medical Center. Doris was born Sept. 20, 1929, in Bolivia, Ill., the daughter of Melvin and Arola Stuart Powers. She married Kenneth White in 1948; he preceded her in death in 2011. Doris worked for the State of Illinois and was a member of the Mechanicsburg Christian Church and Holiday Ramblers. She was also preceded in death by her parents. Doris is survived by two daughters, Melissa (Jim) Doedtman of Rochester and Kathy Bushnell of Mechanicsburg; a son, Rick (Linda) White of Edinburg; four grandchildren: Daniel and Michael White, Adam Doedtman and Amanda Doedtman; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 17, 2014, at Fullenwider-Park Funeral Home in Mechanicsburg. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 18, 2014, at the funeral home with the Rev. Brad Ferris officiating. Burial will follow at Mechanicsburg Cemetery. Fullenwider-Park Funeral Home, 200 S. Church St., Mechanicsburg, IL 62545, is in charge of arrangements.

WHITE, Jerry Lee - Dallas  
Jerry Lee White 8/13/1950-12/14/2014 CARROLLTON, TX - Jerry Lee White was born Aug. 13, 1950, in Robinson, Ill., to Lowell and Edna White. Jerry went to his rest on Dec. 14, 2014, at the age of 64. Jerry graduated from Pleasant Plains High School, attended MacMurray College in Jacksonville, Ill., and Western Illinois University in Macomb, Ill., where he earned his bachelor's degree in music education and his Master's in Music Performance. Jerry taught choral music at Mendota High School in Mendota, Ill., worked for Horace Mann Insurance Company, was a pastor for the Illinois Conference of Seventh-day Adventists, was General Manager of KWLR WORD97 Radio in Maumelle, Ark., and most recently worked as a Personal Care Attendant. He was a member of Crosswalk Fellowship Seventh-day Adventist Church in Frisco, Texas. Jerry's interests included classical, choral and Christian music, giving Bible studies but most of all spending time with his family. Jerry is survived by his wife, Debbie Hallden White of Carrollton, Texas; daughter, Michelle Miller (Texas); son Dr. Brad Evergreen (Washington); and daughter, Sarah Biskner (Tennessee). WILLIAMSON Sr., Ellis C. - Indianapolis  
Ellis C. Williamson, Sr. INDIANAPOLIS, IN - Ellis C. Williamson, Sr., 71, passed away Dec. 4, 2014. He was born Jan. 10, 1943, in Chicago, Ill., to the late Robert Sr., and Lorriane (Hatcher) Williamson. Ellis graduated from Lanphier High School and joined the U.S. Army and served in the Vietnam and Korean War. He retired from the Standard Brand Company as a Security Specialist. He is survived by his loving children, Ellis Jr. of Cincinnati, Ohio and Angela Williamson of Indianapolis, Ind.; sister, Lucille Williamson of Indianapolis, Ind.; grandchildren: Brandon M. Williamson-Rayam, Malik Williamson, and Maygan Carter; and a host of relatives and friends. A celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
