Ann E. Clotfelter

SPRINGFIELD - Ann E. Clotfelter, 90, of Springfield, died at 7:00 a.m. on Friday, February 15, 2013, at St. Joseph's Home.

Ann was born January 27, 1923, in Bulpitt, IL, the daughter of Mike and Ellen Markelonis Utar. She married Fred Clotfelter Jr. on Dec. 29, 1945, at St. Rita's Church in Kincaid. He preceded her in death.

Ann retired from AT&T after 30 years. She was a member of AT&T Pioneers. She was also an avid sports fan.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; brother, Alfred; twin brother, Albert; and niece, Rose Marie Alaria.

She is survived by two sons, Timothy Clotfelter and Ray (wife, Chris) Clotfelter of Springfield; one daughter, Debbie (husband, Jim) Grigg of Auburn; four grandchildren, Erin Clotfelter, Mindy Hopkins, Lisa (Dustin) Devening and Jeremy Grigg; six great-grandchildren, Chesney, Albert, Kaitlin, Cassidy, Annabelle and Parker; and one niece, JoAnn (husband, Dennis) Pop of Bulpitt.

Visitation and Funeral Mass: Family will receive friends from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the Mass at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, February 21, 2013, at St. Aloysius Church, 2119 N. 20th St., Springfield, with Rev. Msgr. David S. Lantz, celebrant.

Burial will follow at Camp Butler National Cemetery.
