SPRINGFIELD, IL - Jack Duffy, 81, local singer and performer, took his last curtain call at 8:23 p.m. on Saturday, April 12, 2014, at Memorial Medical Center.
Jack, the adopted son of John and Agatha Dutkwise Duffy, was born Sept. 19, 1932, in Springfield.
Jack was a U.S. Navy veteran serving during the Korean Conflict. He was a lifelong resident of Springfield. He retired from the State of Illinois Departments of Mental Health and Public Aid as a unit supervisor with Department of Disability Determination Services. He was involved with local community theater for over 40 years.
Surviving are several cousins: Helen (F.M.), Thomas, Mary Ann and Michael Brownlow.
Private graveside services will be held at Calvary Cemetery.
