Jonathan Andrew Pribble

Jonathan Pribble, 31, of Los Angeles, CA, died March 13, 2013, at UCLA Santa Monica Medical Center, where he had spent most of the past seven months.

Jonathan was born December 12, 1981, in Springfield, the son of Mark and Janice Pribble.

Jonathan grew up in Sherman, IL. He excelled as a student and participated in many community and school activities. He was a member of Boy Scout Troop 330 and reached the rank of Eagle Scout in 1996. Jonathan graduated from Williamsville High School in 2000.

He graduated Magna Cum Laude in Electrical Engineering from the Missouri University of Science and Technology in Rolla in 2004. He received his Master's Degree from the University of Southern California in Electrical Engineering in 2008.

Jonathan had been employed by The Aerospace Corporation in El Segundo, CA since 2003, but was on disability leave at the time of his death, due to health.

Despite his illnesses and physical challenges, Jonathan never let those get in the way of living life and pursuing his interests. These interests included family, friends, motorcycles, traveling, music and most of all his relationship with God.

He is survived by his parents, Mark and Janice, of Los Angeles, CA; two brothers, Daniel (Kristy) Pribble of Torrance, CA and Stephen of Lawndale, CA. He is also survived by his grandma, Jean Summers of Marco Island, FL; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, April 20, 2013, at Torrance First Baptist Church at 11:30 a.m.
