SPRINGFIELD - Kevin James Unser "Kiwi", 58, of Springfield, died on Monday, October 29, 2012 at home, surrounded by his beloved wife and loved ones.
Kevin was born on October 22, 1954 in Taylorville the son of Leslie "Bigun" and Velma VanGiesen Unser. He married Felicia Ann on October 5, 1991 at Taylorville United Methodist Church.
He was currently employed at Big "R" of Springfield. He loved and adored his wife, Felicia of 21 years; he was devoted to his family and he loved riding his Harley with his friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and twin grandsons, Kyle Vincent and Douglas Jacob Muncy.
He is survived by his wife, Felicia Ann; two daughters, Leigh Anne Unser and Jamie Unser (companion, Wes Bounds); two brothers, Stephen (Susan) Unser and Denis Unser; one sister, Kathleen (Terry) Schou; two grandsons, Ben Muncy and Levi Bounds; and thirty-four nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 3, 2012 until the time of the Memorial Service at 3:00 p.m. at Edinburg United Methodist Church with Pastor Ray Radae officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions received will be made to various cancer organizations and animal shelters.
