Paul "Dick" Clark

SPRINGFIELD, IL - Paul "Dick" Clark, 68, of Springfield, passed away on Friday Feb. 14, 2014, at his sister's residence.

He was born Sept. 28, 1945, in Springfield to Franklin and Edna Harlan Clark.

Mr. Clark is survived by his two sons, Jeff (Krista) Clark of Buffalo, and Dion (Jennifer) Clark of Chatham; five grandchildren; two brothers, Eugene (Eva) Clark of Sherman and Clifford (Kay) Clark of Springfield; one sister, Sharon (Larry) Cullers of Springfield; his brother-in-law, Raymond Harlow of Nokomis; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Jennifer Clark; one son, Leon Clark; and a sister, Norma Harlow

Paul retired from Wal-Mart on Dirksen Parkway in 2010. He enjoyed fishing, watching NASCAR cheering on Rusty Wallace, and spending time with his shih tzu, Shadow.

A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, Feb. 18, 2014, at Bisch and Son Funeral Home, 505 E. Allen St., Springfield, with burial to follow at Camp Butler National Cemetery where the Inter-Veterans Burial Detail of Sangamon County will conduct military honors.

The family will meet friends from 4-6 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home.
