Got to know Larry very well when we were both on Sen. Partee's staff. Spent many fun hours at Norb Andy's and many lunches together.

Chris and Family,

You lost a wonderful person way too early. Great sense of humor. Worked tirelessly to make our education system better. He put Kids first. My thoughts and prayers to you during this tough time. I was blessed to know Larry when he started in the Assembly and then when he drifted away from lobbying. My blessings. Sincerely, Mike McClain

Larry and I shared our partisan views and history, going back to his days as a Member of the IL House and mine as Legislative Staff for the IL House Democratic Leadership. I appreciated his straight talk and understanding of the affairs of our State.

I worked with Larry for many years while he was both a legislator and a lobbyist. He was outstanding in all areas of his work and we had OUTSTANDING success on many adult education issues. Adult educators throughout the State were responsible to Larry for their jobs due to his many successes in the legislative arena. He was a long-time friend and we already miss him.
