I was working for Representative Boyle when I first met "Junie"
and I always enjoyed having the oppportunity to talk with him.
He was very friendly to this young fella who was fresh out of
college and didn't know nearly as much about politics as he
thought he did! I always valued "Junie's" advice and his point
of view on the issues.
Please accept my deepest condolences-"Junie" will be missed.

Mary, Gaye and Lisa: I was very sorry to hear of Junie's passing. My daughter called me with the news yesterday. I'm currently in Eau Claire, WI working for FEMA. Junie worked with me a number of years at IDOT and I will always remember his sage advice and opinions. He and I were both pro-Toyota owners. You all are in my thoughts and prayers.

A towering man - who spoke his mind. Junie was a gritty - determined - "get in there and get it done" kind of a guy. Politically - persistent - consistent and savvy. He was a friend to my Grandparents, a mentor to my Father and Uncles - and to a punk kid like me - he became both. It was nice to argue politics with someone so passionate - and then go eat chili. You were one of a kind Junie. And I'm sure I'm only one of many who was mighty proud to call you a friend. Thanks for the time - the words - and your faith in me. Godspeed! Mary and Lisa - if there is anything I can do - just say the word.

I worked with Junie at IDOT for alot of years. He was such a character, I'll never forget him. He was larger than life. I had relatives from Benld and spent some time there during Russian Easter, so we would talk about that during breaks.
