Carol A. Fritzsche
NEW BERLIN - Carol A. Fritzsche, 63, of New Berlin, formerly of Springfield and Ramsey, IL passed away Wednesday, November 28, 2012 in Springfield.
She was born in Pana IL, August 10, 1949 the daughter of Michael and Ruby Allen Miller. Carol married Leroy Fritzsche May 1, 1971 in Ramsey IL and he survives.
She is also survived by her son Jay (girlfriend Theresa Clancy) Fritzsche, her daughter, Becky (husband Kevin) Brown, her 2 granddaughters, Leeann and Maddie Brown all of Springfield, 3 brothers; Larry (wife Mary Ann) Miller of Ramsey, IL, John (wife Linda) Miller of Herrick, IL, Jimmy (wife Linda) Miller of Decatur, IL 4 sisters; Patricia (husband David) Harris of Bingman, IL, Michelle (husband David) Bretz, and Kathy (husband Tom) Karaianis both of Springfield and Connie (husband Ken) Mayo of St. Louis, MO, her sister-in-law Debbie Fritzsche of Mt. Olive, IL and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Her parents preceded her in death.
Carol graduated from St. John's School of Nursing in 1971 as a Registered Nurse.
She served St. John's Hospital for over 37 years. She was a member of St. Agnes Catholic Church where she served as a greeter several times.
Carol loved her family. She enjoyed time with her children and grandchildren and looked forward to the family reunions. She enjoyed camping and especially the annual Missouri canoeing trips each year. She was a kind hearted friend to all that knew her.
Arrangements are under the direction of Bisch Funeral Home West 2931 S. Koke Mill Rd where a visitation will be from 2-5 pm Sunday December 2, 2012. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 am Monday, December 3, 2012 at St. Agnes Catholic Church in Springfield with Father Robert Jallas officiating. Burial will follow in Old Salem Cemetery, west of Springfield.
