Joseph Skube
Christopher Joseph Skube, 18, of Springfield, died at 7:16 am, Wednesday, March 9, 2011. He was born October 6, 1992 in Springfield, to Mark and Jean Gillespie Skube.
He is survived by his parents, one brother, Stephen Skube; one niece, Madison Skube; Grandparents, Betty Gillespie, and Ed & Diana Skube all of Springfield and Jerie & JoAnn McCall of Riverton; several aunts, uncles and cousins.
His grandfather, Jim Gillespie preceded him in death.
Christopher was a high school senior and a member of Little Flower Church. He loved to cook, fish, play guitar, listen to music and drive around. He loved his family and friends and was quick with his smile and full of life.
Visitation: 4-7 pm, Sunday, March 13, 2011 at Staab Funeral Home with a prayer service at 4 pm.
Funeral Mass: 10 am, Monday, March 14, 2011 at Church of the Little Flower with Monsignor John Ossola officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
Memorial Contributions may be made to Children's Miracle Network in care of St. John's Children's Hospital

Travis and I are so sorry for your loss. Chris was a great kid who I remember walking through our front door for months for guitar lessons. He always had a big smile on his face. His love of playing guitar was evident through his lessons with Travis. Travis always told me he loved teaching Chris because he was such a good student and fun to teach.
