Linda Baer
SPRINGFIELD - Linda Baer, 65, of Springfield, passed away Wednesday March 20, 2013, at Memorial Medical Center. She was born June 9, 1947, in Springfield, the daughter of Edward and Helen Worms Baer.
She is survived by her sister, Lesley (Ed) Duffy of Salisbury; her brother, Steven (Rhonda) Baer of Springfield; as well as several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Linda graduated from Illinois State University, and then received her Masters Degree from Sangamon State University. She was a teacher for Springfield School District 186 for 25 years, and she was a member of the Springfield Education Association and the Illinois Education Association. Linda enjoyed reading, spending time with her nieces, nephews, and her beloved dogs.
A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday March 25, 2013, at Oak Ridge Cemetery with Rabbi Michael Datz officiating.
