Margaret Louise Dannenberger
SPRINGFIELD, IL - Margaret Louise Dannenberger, 91, passed away Monday, Oct. 14, 2013 at Heritage Health Care in Springfield, Ill.
She was the daughter of John and Naomi Grubb. She married Richard Bryan Dannenberger on Feb. 10, 1940. He preceded her in death on Sept. 10, 1956. She was also preceded in death by her parents and four brothers: John, Lawrence, and Merle Grubb of Rochester, and Charles Grubb of Springfield; and one sister, Mary Osborne of Rochelle, Ill.
Survived by a daughter, Hilda (Carl) Haiser of Sun City, Fla.; a son, James (Terri) Dannenberger of Rochester; three grandsons: Bryan Dannenberger (fiancé, Dawn), Carl Haiser Jr. of Ballwin, Mo., and Matthew (Danielle) Dannenberger of Springfield; two step granddaughters, Christina (Jason) Ruggless and Angela (George) Indermark of Springfield; eight great-grandchildren: Bella, Giada and J.D. Dannenberger, Alexandra Haiser, Alaine Ruggless, T.J. and Sophia Walter, and Georgia lndermark.
She attended Chicken Bristle School and Rochester High School. Margaret and her husband farmed in the Rochester area for many years and she later worked at the Masonic Lodge. She was a member of the Morland Rebecka Lodge. She loved gardening and watching the deer in her fields and feeding the birds, but most of all being with her family.
Visitation will be at 9:30 a.m., Thursday, Oct. 17, 2013, at Wilson Park Funeral Home, 200 E. Main St., Rochester. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Larry Hanson officiating. Burial will be in Rochester Cemetery.
