Marian "Munnie" Lohman Pacino
Marian "Munnie" Lohman Pacino, 62, of St. Louis, Missouri died Tuesday, July 24, 2012 at her home. She was born February 16, 1950 in Jacksonville, Illinois.
Munnie graduated from Springfield High School in 1968 and attended Cornell College in Mt. Vernon, Iowa. She earned her Masters of Social Work degree from St. Louis University. She married David Pacino in 1976.
Munnie worked for the Family Court of St. Louis County for 27 years. She was a dedicated participant in volunteer organizations with a focus on children's health and well-being. She was a member of the Junior League of St. Louis for 39 years where she held many leadership positions. She also served in leadership roles with Caring for Kids, Inc., Citizens for Missouri's Children, Salvation Army, United Way, Missouri Board for Architects and Missouri Center for Safe Schools. She won numerous awards for her community service and volunteerism.
Munnie was the loving wife of David; mother of Nicole, step-mother of Keith, Dana and Anthony; sister of Berta Lohman James; grandmother of Nicholas and Anthony Barlett, John and Annaka Pacino and Bella Pacino; aunt of Sarah Cantu and Ted James. She was preceded in death by her father, Walter Lohman. Her mother, Carol Lohman, passed away just a few days after Munnie's death.
A service was held in St. Louis on July 28, 2012.
