DAWSON, IL - Marjorie E. Bernahl-Womack, 79, passed away Saturday Feb. 8, 2014.

She was born in Springfield, the daughter of Roscoe A. and Esther G. Niccolls. She married Rolla J. Womack March 13, 1999, in Lincoln. She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Aline J. Errett; son, Clinton D. Bernahl; brother, Harry L. Niccolls; and sister, Helen Nicols.

Marge was owner and CEO of Pryco, Inc., in Mechanicsburg for the past 34 years. She was a supporter of the Shriners Children's Hospitals and the Masonic Lodge of Mechanicsburg. She also owned and operated the County Boot Store in Mechanicsburg, and upon the store's closure, remodeled and donated the building to the Masonic Lodge of Mechanicsburg. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. She enjoyed flower gardening, traveling, especially cruising, all over the world. Marge owned several race horses and loved attending equestrian events. She was a very giving and generous person.

She is survived by her husband, Rolla Womack; brother, Edward (Bonnie) Niccolls, of Sherman; sisters, Ruth Hashman, of Springfield, Sylvia (Ed) Schmidt, of Bloomington, Minn., and Linda (Carl) Surbeck-Raddatz, of Louisville, Ky.; step daughters, Teresa (Charles) Van Huss, of Rochester, Sherry (Michael) Kay, of Buffalo, and Kathy (Craig) Fanning, of Springfield; step son, Dennis (Jody) Womack, of Dawson; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Friends may call at Boardman-Smith Funeral Chapel from 4-7 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 12, 2014. Services will be held at Boardman-Smith Funeral Chapel at 10 a.m., Thursday, Feb. 13, 2014, with Rev. Vaughn Beeman officiating. Interment will be in Mechanicsburg Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the Shriners Hospital for Children, 2001 S. Lindbergh Blvd., St. Louis, MO 63131-3597.
