Marjorie Jean Winters
WARRENSBURG, IL - Marjorie Jean Winters, 88. died Thursday, July 25, 2013, in Decatur, Ill.
Memorial services will be at noon, Monday, July 29, 2013, at New Beginnings Church of God in Decatur. Visitation will be two hours before service time at the church. Interment of cremated remains will be in Illini Cemetery in Warrensburg.
Memorials may be made to Safe Haven Hospice or New Beginnings Church of God.
Marge was born March 22, 1925, in Austin Township, Ill., daughter of Richard and Leona Gasaway Hoaglin. She owned the Winters Café in Warrensburg for 26 years, was a sales representative for Avon, Wicks Homes, and Combined Insurance.
Surviving are her daughters, Cindy (Stu) Ellis of Decatur and Nancy (Dale) McLean of Chatham; son, Gregg of Warrensburg; grandchildren: Christina and Jamie Ellis, Aaron McLean, Erica McLean Kimball, Tyler Winters and Kara Winters Suder; four great-grandchildren; two nephews and one niece.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, William "Tig" Winters; sons, Mike and Craig; and special friend, Bob Warnick.
Tanzyus-Logan Funeral Service and Care is in charge of the arrangements.
