Nancy JONES Obituary
Nancy E. Jones
SPAULDING - Nancy E. Jones, 70, of Spaulding, died at 10:15 am, Wednesday, April 11, 2012 at Vonderleith Living Center in Mt. Pulaski. She was born January 2, 1942 in Springfield, to Samuel and Mary Roscetti Cardoni. She married Gerald M. Jones on June 25, 1960 and he survives.
Also surviving are her mother, Mary Cardoni of Riverton, one son Dennis (Christina) Jones of Spaulding; one granddaughter Julianna; one sister Elaine (George) Maurer of Lexington, KY; one brother Ronald (Patricia) Cardoni of Sherman; two nephews, Matthew and Kurt Cardoni and several cousins.
Her father and one son, John Patrick Jones preceded her in death.
Nancy was a resident of Spaulding and Riverton area all her life. She graduated from Riverton High School in 1959 and was a secretary at Care Center and previously Clear Lake Township.
She was a great cook and loved to read. She enjoyed going to garage sales.
Visitation: 9-11 am, Monday, April 16, 2012, at Staab Funeral Home.
Funeral Service: 11 am, Monday, April 16, 2012, at Staab Funeral Home with Reverend Stephen Thompson officiating. Burial will be in Camp Butler National Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.

Nancy was a neighbor of mine from the Piza street area "back in the day". What a sweet and happy lady, always had a smile on her face. Thoughts and prayers to the family.
