DECATUR - Nancy Jo Matich-Liden, 51, of Decatur, Ill., passed away Thursday, March 21, 2013, at her home.

She was born in Springfield, Ill., May 24, 1961, the daughter of James and Jo Ann Dyer McCafferty. Her parents and an infant daughter, Christine Matich, preceded her in death.

Nancy married Mark Matich in 1979 and they later divorced. She then married James Liden and he preceded her in death.

Nancy was a home health care provider and worked in retail management for many years. She was a member and served as trustee of the Eagles Auxiliary Aries #507 in Decatur. She was an active member of A.B.A.T.E. and attended Niantic United Methodist Church.

She loved her family and friends and was happiest spending time with them. She was an avid NASCAR fan and especially Dale Earnhardt Jr. Nancy was a Chicago Bears fan and enjoyed collecting Dolphin figurines.

Surviving are her children: James Matich of Niantic, William Matich of Decatur, and Jacob (wife, Marcia) Matich of Riverton; 4 grandchildren: Audrey and Abbigail McConnell, and Naomi and Oriah Matich; her former husband, Mark Matich of Decatur; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Arrangements are under the direction of Bisch and Son Funeral Home, 505 E. Allen Springfield, Ill., where a visitation will be held on Monday, March 25, 2013, from 5-7 p.m. and where her funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 26, 2013. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park near Riverton, Ill.
