Norma J. Holliday

PETERSBURG - Norma J. Holliday, 69, of Petersburg passed away March 20, 2013, at Sunny Acres Home. Norma was born November 5, 1943, in Menard County, the daughter of Charles and Susan (Armstrong) Hol-liday.

Norma is survived by her brothers: Lloyd (Beverly) and John (Karen) Holliday; niece, Barbara (Cecil) Renshaw, and nephews: Doug (Sherry), Steve (Natalie), Darrell (Angie), Dale (Rhonda) and Richard (Leigh) Holliday. She is also survived by numerous loving great-nieces and great-nephews and is predeceased by her parents and brother, Paul Holliday.

Norma was a member of the First Baptist Church in Petersburg and worked for many years at the Petersburg Veterinary Clinic. She loved animals, especially her cats: "Muffy", "Duncan" and "Buddy".

Funeral services will be Friday, March 22, 2013, at 4:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Petersburg with the Rev. Rob Gallion officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the funeral in the church. Burial will follow in Concord Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the First Baptist Church or to Sunny Acres Home.

Hurley Funeral Home in Petersburg assisted the Holliday family with arrangements.
