He was born May 17, 1961 in Hillsboro, IL. The Son of Everett Brooks and Marjorie (Miller) Stokes.

Funeral services will be held Friday, December 21, 2012 at 11:00am at Sutton Funeral Home in Nokomis, with Rev. Edmond Hill officiating. Burial will be in Rockford Cemetery in Clarksburg, IL. Visitation will be held Friday, December 21, 2012 from 10:00-11:00am at Sutton Funeral Home in Nokoims.
