Jimmie "Jim" Lee VanBebber

LOAMI, IL - Jimmie "Jim" Lee VanBebber, age 63, of Loami, Ill. died unexpectedly early Sunday (March 9, 2014) at his residence.

He was born October 10, 1950 in Jacksonville, Ill. son of the late James D. and Mary Blanch Tongate VanBebber.

He married Maria L. Loveless on February 24, 1973 in Palmyra, Ill. and she survives.

Also surviving are two daughters, Alicia VanBebber (Joseph Casillas) of Nashville, Tenn. and Amanda VanBebber of Springfield, Ill.; and his much anticipated grandchild due September 18th of this year; two sisters, Bandy Robold (Monte) of Fallbrook, California and Lindy Roggenkamp (Bob) of Eureka, South Dakota;, four aunts, Frances VanBebber, & Ruth Woolfolk both of Springfield, Ill., Alice Jesse of Columbia, South Carolina and Susan Tongate of Carlinville, Ill.; several cousins, nieces and nephews.

Jim was a Ironworker with Local 46 for many years. He was a former member New Berlin Jaycees. He was an avid collector who enjoyed managing his farms. He also loved being outdoors and spending time with his family.

Graveside services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday (March 13, 2014) at Scottville West Cemetery near Scottville, Ill. Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the Stults-Neece Chapel in Palmyra, Ill. Memorials may be made to Scottville West Cemetery c/o Stults-Neece Chapel in Palmyra, Ill.
