SPRINGFIELD, IL - Phyllis Jean Wilson passed away Friday, March 14, 2014, on the evening of her 90th birthday at Heritage Health, Springfield.
She was born March 14, 1924, to Clinton R. and Ruth M. Crump in Urbana, Ill. The Crump family moved to Springfield in June of 1932. She married Donald R. Wilson in 1946.
Phyllis worked for the Chicago Motor Club along with her sister Louise in her early years. She then became a homemaker and excellent cook. Later in life, she worked for First National Bank in the Account Records division.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald, daughter, Suzanne Skeeters, brother, Milton Crump, and sister, Louise Kraft.
Survivors are Terry K. Wilson (Terri) of California and Phillip B. Wilson (Wendy) of Springfield; grandchildren, Shelby, Donald, Janelle, Sara, Sheila, Sean, Christie, Melanie and Heather; great-grandchildren, Jason, Faith, Alyssa, Cidney, Trevor, Zachary, Taylor, Savannah, Maddie, Brycen and Jace; and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held on Wednesday March 19, 2014, at 11 a.m. at Oak Ridge Cemetery in Springfield.
