James "JimBil" L. Bilbruck
AUBURN, IL - James "JimBil" L. Bilbruck, 71, passed away Tuesday, June 24, 2014, at his home.
He was born Dec. 12, 1942, in Alton, the son of Lloyd and Peggy Baker Bilbruck. He was preceded in death by a brother, Charles Bilbruck.
He married Karen Cook on Dec. 6, 1981, in Assumption.
Jim served as an Airman 2nd Class in the United States Air Force in the 91st Bomber Group from January 1960 to January 1964. He was a member of the Air Police guarding U.S. Air Bases.
He was a member of the American Legion. He served as Cub Scout leader and helped with JFL. He is retired from the Carpenters Union, Local 16.
Surviving are his wife, Karen; two sons, Jimmer (Shannon) and Brian (Missy); daughter, Kimberly (Keysen) Warren; six grandchildren including, Derrick (Ginnie) Porter, Tyler and Jensyn Warren; one great-grandchild; brother, Rusty Bilbruck; sister, Anna Brummett; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m., Friday, June 27, 2014, at Bramley Funeral Home in Divernon. Graveside Services will be at 11 a.m., Saturday at Brush Creek Cemetery, Divernon, with Rev. Nick Oyler officiating. Military Honors will be conducted by the Auburn VFW and Auburn American Legion.
