John A. "Jake" Oldridge, Jr.
DIVERNON, IL - John A. "Jake" Oldridge, Jr., 57, passed away Wednesday, July 2, 2014 at his home in Divernon surrounded by family and friends.
He was born June 26, 1957, in Springfield, the son of John A. and Virginia Catalano Oldridge, Sr. and they preceded him in death.
He married Tracey Marx on Jan. 22, 1983.
Jake worked for the Sangamon County Highway Dept., P.T. Cody Farms, and Divernon Township.
Surviving are his wife, Tracey; daughter, Carrie (companion, Bruce Smith) Oldridge of Chatham; son, John "J.R." (Megan) Oldridge of Alton; two grandchildren, Conner and Kaylee; sister, Vickie (Vince) Dwyer of Springfield; two brothers, George (Rhonda) Oldridge of Springfield and Joe (Karen) Oldridge of Pleasant Plains; several sister-in-laws and brother-in-laws; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, July 5, 2014 at the Divernon Sportsmen's Club starting at 4 p.m.
