SPRINGFIELD, IL - Sally J. Regan-Hatfield, 69, passed away at 7:50 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 10, 2014, at Memorial Medical Center.

Sally was born May 12, 1944, in Springfield, the daughter of Vernon Lee and Mary Margaret Kelly Jenkins. She married Patrick J. Regan on Feb. 8, 1964, in Springfield. She then married David Hatfield on Oct. 19, 1991, in Springfield.

Sally was a graduate of Springfield High School and Decatur School of Cosmetology. She was the owner of Sally's Bridal and Formal, where she was nominated for the title of Business Woman of the Year. She later owned and operated Skin Sensations by Sally out of her home. Her most cherished association was with the Dominican Sisters at the Sacred Heart Convent for over ten years. She was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. More than anything, Sally enjoyed being a grandmother. She also enjoyed working, cheering for the St. Louis Cardinals, playing cards, and arranging bus trips to the Fox Theater in St. Louis.

Sally was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Nancy Midden and Marilou Draper.

She is survived by her husband, David Hatfield, of Springfield; two sons, Joe (wife, Sue) Regan and Mike Regan, all of Springfield; a stepdaughter, Renee Hatfield (partner, Carmen Allen), of Springfield; four grandchildren, Mary Kate and Patrick Edward Regan, Ellie Jane (husband, Troy)Williams, and Kasak Eileen Jane Regan, all of Springfield; one great-grandchild, Finley Jane Williams; nine siblings, Sue (husband, Wayne) Moyer, of Springfield, Judy Hoppie and Jeanie (husband, Henry) Fink, both of Utah, Ellen (husband, Rodger) Sampson, of Mich., Vickie McMann, John (wife, Sally Ann) Jenkins, both of Springfield, David (wife, Julie) Jenkins, Tom Jenkins, both of Girard, and Julie Miller, of Springfield; several aunts and uncles; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation: Family will receive friends from 4:30-7:30 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 14, 2014, at Kirlin-Egan & Butler Funeral Home, 900 S. 6th St., Springfield. Visitation will begin with a prayer service at 4:30 p.m.

Funeral Mass: 10 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 15, 2014, at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 1725 S. Walnut St., Springfield, with Rev. Msgr. David R. Lantz celebrant. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park.
