Lynda Lou "Nan" Huffstutler
CHATHAM, IL - Lynda Lou "Nan" Huffstutler, 75, of Chatham, died Wednesday, June 4, 2014, at St. John's Hospice.
She was born March 8, 1939, in Carbondale, to William and Ruby Simmons Bridwell, who preceded her in death. Her brother, William, also preceded her in death.
She married Fred A. Huffstutler in 1964. Lynda was retired and had been a hairstylist and co-owner of Affair with Hair, in Chatham. Lynda was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and Past Worthy Matron.
She will be greatly missed by her husband, Fred; children, Terry P. Ulinski of Florida, Douglas J. Ulinski, Elizabeth (Marc) Johnson of Florida, Vicky Huffstutler, Bruce Huffstutler, Dianne Folder and Tori Gerberding, all of Chatham; grandchildren: Courtney, Shelby, Aaron, Dalton, Samantha, Rachel, Sean, Tory, Hannah, and Jordan; 10 great-grandchildren; sister, Sara Branson of Chatham; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Cremation rites will be accorded by Cremation Services of Central Illinois, Chatham, before services.
Her family will greet friends from 2-4 p.m. on Sunday, June 8, at Staab Polk Memorial Home, 8855 State Rte. 4, Chatham. Memorial service ceremony will follow at 4 p.m. with Paula Staab Polk, funeral celebrant.

I have some wonderful memories of Lynda. I echo what Greg expressed, she was like a second mom to me as well. She opened up her heart and home raising a ton of us kids. Forever in my thoughts!!

Lynda was an awesome lady who I will remember most for her warmth and words of encouragement. May the Lord be with her family during their grieving and know His will is done and Lynda is home, no longer in pain.
