Alberta was the last of the Greatest Generation in our family. She shared her time and talents as caregiver, baker, seamstress, and source of advice for all. She took pride in her family and wanted to be remembered for her love for family and friends.
Alberta was laid to rest beside her beloved Bill in a private family service at Oak Grove Cemetery in Hillsboro. Pastor Joel Lohr from Bethel Baptist Church in Jerseyville officiated.
The family was served by Boardman Smith Funeral Chapel.
