KENNETH EDWARD WAGSTAFF

1958 - 2014

Mr. Kenneth Edward Wagstaff, 56, a resident of Skagit Valley since mid-2011, passed away in Mount Vernon on Saturday, September 20, 2014 at 6:25 a.m. following a lengthy suffering from liver disease.

Ken was born in Alemeda, CA on August 27, 1958 to Edward. & Geraldine Wagstaff.

He is survived by his son, Derick Wagstaff, a grandson Jordon D. Wagstaff, both of Ogden, UT, his daughter K D Wagstaff of Pocatello, ID, a sister, Dana Shepard of Ogden, UT and several uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ed and Geraldine Wagstaff.

His uncle, John Reed, of Los Altos, CA, was in frequent contact with Ken in recent years. Former wives have offered support with locating documents needed since Ken's passing.

Ken enjoyed golf, auto racing, boating, skiing, football and baseball, and he proved to be a fine scenic artist.

His home environment was cozy, tidy and pleasant. He was an innovative decorator.

For the past 3 years, he developed several loyal and supportive friendships. He often attended Christ the King Church, and religious movies and music. Ken's generosity, caring and friendship was appreciated by many, and some shared special moments of time with him. Friends Fred and Valerie Hunt offered hands-on emotional, spiritual, practical and health-related support following his mother's death in November, 2011, which continued after he learned of his liver cancer diagnosis. Ken support and friendship during his deteriorating health issues. Ken's little Shih tzu dog, "A J" was his pride, comfort and joy.

Ken was transported to his family in Ogden, UT where his family will gather to pay their respects. Any memorials may be given to the research and treatment of cancer, or to the charity of your choice.
