Kenneth Eugene Anderson, 65, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on October 15, 2013.
He was born to Virginia "Faye" and Floyd Anderson on October 5, 1948 in Spokane, WA. Ken graduated from LaConner High School in 1967. He then served in the U.S. Army from 1968 to 1970 where he fought in the Vietnam War.
After getting out of the Army he worked for Dunlap Towing and then in the fishing industry. Ken enjoyed fishing, hunting, cooking, building various things and spending time with family and friends.
He is survived by his brother Jim Anderson of Vietnam, aunt Marilyn Conklin of Spokane, cousin Linda Conne of Spokane, ex-wife Phyllis Anderson of Burlington, children Steve Johnson (Shelly) of Sedro-Woolley, Shelby Jones (Rod) of Mount Vernon, and Shannan Anderson of Burlington, grandchildren Amber Hibma (Greg) of Sedro-Woolley, Jonathan Anderson-Cortez, Alexandria Jones, Blake Biffoss of Burlington, and great-grandson Bentley Hibma, along with many more family and friends.
Ken is preceded in death by his aunt Rosalyn Smith and parents Virginia and Floyd Anderson.
A celebration of Ken's life will be held on Saturday, November 2nd, from 1:00 - 4:00pm at 310 N. Section St., Burlington, WA.

You are missed so much!! You could be the grumpy "ole man" sometimes but always could make us laugh and know you loved us! Glad you came and stayed with us for the months you did..
