DAVID VINCENT ROCKE(1942 - 2014)

David Vicent Rocke, died of natural causes on March 20th, at his home in Seattle.

He was born in Mount Vernon on August 15, 1942, to Vincent and Gladys Rocke.

David was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, and a marine engine mechanic. His skills had him working for several years at NC Marine, focusing on diesel engines. He branched out as an entrepreneur, leaving NC Marine to start his own business, Marine Engine Detailers. Specializing in service and repair of vessel engines, he also maintained potable water systems aboard many boats in Seattle's harbors. As an inventor, he created and sold a product called, "It Fits", devised to hold eyeglasses.

David pursued knowledge, whether from his avid reading, or by audio recordings of business, and motivational speakers.

David is survived by his sons Rod Garbarino and Aaron Rocke; Rod's daughter Amber, and her son Ethan; and Aaron's children Abigail, Calvin, and Sabrina.

His parents Vincent and Gladys predeceased him.

A graveside ceremony will be held at 11:00 AM this Friday, April 11 at Mount Vernon Cemetery, 1200 E Fir St, Mount Vernon.

Arrangements are under the care of Kern Funeral Home.
