JUNE MORRIS ROHWEDER(1918 - 2014)

November 24, 1918- July 19, 2014

June Morris was born in Hagarville, AR on November 24, 1918. She moved with her family to Skagit Valley in 1935, settling in Mt. Vernon.

She worked at the cannery in Mt. Vernon where she met her future husband, Ralph. They had 4 children, several grand-children, and great-great grandchildren.

Ralph and June moved to Concrete in 1948. They started with a logging business where June was the bookkeeper and homemaker. Then they created the NW Shake and Lumber Company with June continuing in her role as mother and bookkeeper.

She was a member of Community Bible Church from its inception. Two of her surviving children continue to live in Concrete and the third lives in Arizona.

Viewing is at Hulbush Funeral Home in Burlington on July 22nd until 11:00 AM on July 23rd. A gravesite service will be held at 1:00 PM on July 23rd at the Burlington cemetery on Gardner Rd.
