TAMMI O. CORNELIUS(1961 - 2014)

Tammi Cornelius, 52, of Anacortes, Washington earned her wings on January 20, 2014.

She was born in Mount Vernon, Washington to Charles W. "Bill" and Billie Cornelius on July 2, 1961, the 4th of what would be 6 children.

She attended public schools and graduated from Sedro-Woolley High School in 1979.

Tammi was a loving person who never met a stranger; she even called her doctor by just his last name. She loved to dance, go for rides in the convertible to the beach, camping, coloring, going to church, volunteering at the Salvation Army and visiting with her family and friends.

Her gentle heart and loving soul touched so many. When she met you, you became a part of her family.

Tammi is survived by her brothers Robert (Rita) Cornelius and John Cornelius of Anacortes and her sister Kelly McKinney of Des Moines, WA; numerous nieces, nephews; cousins; and aunts and uncles. She will be missed.

A celebration of life for Tammi will be held at the Mount Vernon First Baptist Church with a potluck following on Saturday, January 25th at 3:00 p.m.

Arrangements are in the care of Evans Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc., Anacortes, WA and the San Juan Islands. To share memories of Tammi, please sign the online guest register at www.evanschapel.com.
