Ted Gonzales passed on May 11, 2014 after a struggle with lung cancer. Ted was born November 09, 1935 in Gibson, New Mexico to Tony and Jessie Gonzales. Ted was raised in Wilkeson, Wa where he graduated the first eight years of "common school" June 1, 1951. He graduated from White River High School on June 2, 1955. While attending there he earned several letters in sports.

Immediately following High School Graduation, he entered military service in the United States Navy on July 13, 1955 serving actively for four years and as reserve status for four more years. He was Honorably Discharged from military service on July 12, 1963.

Ted moved to Woodinville where he worked for the Burlington Northern Railroad. He met and married his lovely wife June and her five children on May 9, 1977. Ted retired from the railroad on November 2, 1997. He and June moved to Sedro-Woolley the next year in June; their home in SW is where they were living at the time of his death.

Ted is preceded in death by his parents, Tony and Jessie Gonzales; son, Darell Keller; brother, John Gonzales; brother, Clarence and his wife Catherine Gonzales; sister, Ida and her husband, Bill Wade; and sister Betty Corning.

Ted is survived by his wife, June; son, Ed Keller; daughter, Theresa and her husband, Danny Blomquist; daughter, Emily Cardinale; and son, Terry Stapp; as well as several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and even great-great-grandchildren! He is also survived by his Uncle Bob O'Neal; brother, Skeek Gonzales; brother, Frank and his wife, Sheila Gonzales; brother-in-law Bill Corning; and many nephews and nieces.

We will be celebrating Ted's life on Saturday, July 12. We will be getting together to visit and share. There will be a short service and presentation of a video. Then we will tell stories, look at pictures and of course, we'll eat! If you would like to celebrate with us, we are at 903 Carriage Court Sedro-Woolley (98284). In the clubhouse on the right as you come through the gate. We will start at 1pm and finish when everyone is done visiting.
