Liz was a true friend. She was concerned about the needs of others, loving and a wonderful Christian lady. She had a great sense of humor and a ready smile. I am richer for having known her. She will be missed.

I want to share my most memorable and funny story about Aunt Ann.
When my daughter, Lyndi, was first learning the hierarchy of blood relatives, Aunt Ann came to Houston. This made Aunt Ann my daughter’s Great Aunt Ann and was the first “great” relative Lyndi met. Of course, Aunt Ann told her that she was the greatest, thus, “Great Aunt Ann.”
The discussion about “greats” continued throughout the weekend, then, Lyndi finally asked her out of confusion, “Exactly, where did you come from, Great Aunt Ann?” Are you ready for this? Although, I can’t recall the story verbatim, but, basically, Aunt Ann told her that she was a little “ant” that crawled out of her Grandma’s (Johnnie) pocket at the airport and developed into a “Great Aunt” but that she required periodic incubation in her Grandma’s pocket to fully develop into the “Greatest Aunt.” Lyndi was so convinced that she went to school Monday morning and shared this during “Show and Tell.” Can you imagine the teacher internally laughing hysterically, while keeping a poker face? Lyndi got an “A” for creativity that day.
Aunt Ann, the many memories you left behind carry those that are grieving through difficult times.
ANT Ann, rest in peace.
Love, Susie Klodzinski
