Phil was my Dad's younger brother and over the years I have been impressed with his deep love for God and for his family ... his immediate family and all those with family ties. The brothers are united once again and the Skagit Valley has lost a prince of a man. Paul Walterman

It's been quite a few years since we lived in Anacortes (we moved to Oregon in 1985), but we certainly recall what a friendly and fine person Phil was. We greatly enjoyed getting to know him when we were members at First Assembly. We rejoice that he now knows the glories of Heaven and seeing Jesus face to face....
