Bob Horton... Whats the best way to describe a good friend..an exceptional equipment operator, an old grizzly bear with a heart of gold...His woodworking skills were the best. I had the pleasure of working around Bob the last 11 years.... 50 years in the Operators Union, what a remarkable feat! Stories I will forever cherish.... You will be deeply missed. R.I.P my friend.

Bob was a good friend to my dad for many years. He took me on my very first airplane ride when I was just a little girl. He was a kind and wonderful man who I will remember always. He will be greatly missed by all in our family. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

You will be terribly missed. The girls loved coming up and being able to raid his treasure chest. We will also miss all the wonderful stories of his past and our personal favorite story of him finding the woolly mammoth tusk. We love you and wish had had more time with you. You will always be in our great memories.
Love Rick, Olivia, Savanah & Paytin

Grandpa Horton, I love you so very much and I remember when I was a little girl sitting on the back of your recliner, in my frilly dress combing your hair til you fell asleep. Then I would climb in the chair with you and we would take a nap.Im very greatful that you met my husband Donny and our daughters Star and Amber, and got to see pictures of our son Matthew. We miss you and cant wait to join you in heaven one day.We love you and our thoughts and prayers go out to Grandma Margret and my dad and uncles..Darci

So very glad I met Bob. His stories of life's adventures were amazing. From working on tug boats, The Alaska pipeline... operating the biggest equipment...to racing. His "fishing stories" were the best. By watching him, I would swear that Bob could thread a needle with an excavator. I will miss his humor, charisma and making chocolate chip cookies for him.

Thanks Bob for being there for my Mom all these years. I hope, wherever you are, you're not standing in line! RIP Bob!
