ANN PETTIT Obituary
She was born on September 28, 1932 in Seattle, Washington, the daughter of Clarence H. & Ann L. (McGee) Robbins. She was raised in Seattle and attended Immaculate Conception grade school and Holy Rosary High School.
In 1952 she met Richard Pettit and they were united in marriage on June 11, 1954. She and Richard made their home in the Ballard area of Seattle until moving to Sedro-Woolley in 1991.
Sue retired from Pacific Northwest Bell.
Sue's true love was her family and friends. She took pride in her home, delighting in the art of all things domestic-from decorating to cooking. She was gifted, creating breathtaking works of perfection in her handwork, embroidery, and sewing.
Before moving to Sedro Woolley she was active in several bowling leagues.
Sue is survived by her husband of 56 years, Richard, at the family home; her sister, Sally Nugent and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Margaret Craig and her brother, Clarence F. Robbins.
The family suggests memorials be made to the Helping Hands Food Bank, P.O. Box 632, Sedro-Woolley, WA 98284.
A Rosary will be recited at 10:30AM with a Funeral Mass at 11:00AM on Thursday, March 17 2011 at St. Charles Catholic Church in Burlington with Father Tom McMichael, Celebrant.
Arrangements and cremation are under the direction of Lemley Chapel, Sedro-Woolley.

Our Dear Grandma Soup(Sue), You will forever be in our thoughts. Your were such a great neighbor to us and my children. You made us feel welcome the first day we moved in. You reminding us everyday that great people still do great things for their neighbor, like making extra taco soup or speghetti for us. Oh how my family loved your home cooking =0 You always made my children feel special by remembering them on every holiday. You were such an amazing person Sue I am so honored to have known you and Richard for the past 3 years. May you rest in peace Sue. You will never be forgotten.
