KRAMER BLACKWELL Obituary

Kramer Dee Blackwell, 19, a lifelong Sedro-Woolley resident, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, May 2, 2011.

He was born on September 23, 1991, in Sedro-Woolley, the son of Rob & Lori (Czerski) Blackwell. He made his home and attended school there, and was preparing to graduate from Sedro-Woolley High School with the class of 2011.

Kramer endured many physical disabilities and numerous surgeries over the years, but he never complained and it never dulled his enthusiasm for life. He was the perpetual jokster trying to get you to laugh or he was the warming arms with a hug for comfort; and that smile...

In his brief lifetime he has traveled more, and met more people than anyone could ever imagine. He was a huge sports fan and had met so many sports figures and attended numerous events from NASCAR to all of the Northwest sporting events. He was a stats encyclopedia for many of them.

Kramer loved being with and around people. He would travel all around Skagit & Whatcom counties just to see his friends. He loved them and they loved him.

Kramer is survived by his mother, Lori Blackwell of Sedro-Woolley; his father Rob Blackwell and his companion Jamie of Bow; maternal grandparents, Evonne & Dennis Moran of Concrete and paternal grandparents, Bud & Pat Blackwell of Mount Vernon; great-grandmother, Irene Czerski and adopted grandmother, Kay Brown of Sedro-Woolley; aunt & uncle, Saundra & Mike Blackwell; great-aunt & uncle, Lilyann & Jerry DiPietro, great-uncle, Merek Czerski and cousins, Alex, Jordan & Elliot Blackwell and Sara & Emily DiPietro.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, May 14, 2011 at 3:00 PM at the Trinity United Presbyterian Church in Sedro-Woolley with Pastor Wendy Tingley officiating. Visitation will be available at Lemley Chapel on Thursday May 5th thru Saturday May 7th from 9am to 5pm.

Memorials are suggested to Children's Hospital, M/S S200 PO Box 50020, Seattle, WA 98145-5020.

Arrangements are under the direction of Lemley Chapel, Sedro-Woolley.

Dear Kramer,
Our sadness at losing you is eclipsed only by your immeasurable courage, positive attitude and unstoppable spirit. I am honored and humbled to be related to such an extraordinary human being. Your ability to have a smile for every person you met, to never voice a complaint, and to have such empathy and concern for others in spite of all you endured is absolutely astonishing. We all need to strive to be more like you. You are a role model for all people. A world full of people like you would be wonderful indeed but… You are easily the strongest, most loving person I have ever had the incredible privilege of meeting. You are truly ONE of a kind and you will NEVER be forgotten.
WE LOVE YOU,
Uncle Mike, Aunt Saundra, Jordan, Alex, and Elliott Mo

Kramer lit a room up when he walked in. I recall how he could not contain himself when he heard music and songs and just had to prance around the church! He danced into my heart and that is where he will always stay. Thank you Kay for shring him with all of us!!

It doesn't seem that long ago that Kramer would come over to the motel to visit and spread his own brand of sunshine. Bud and Pat, you're in my thoughts and prayers.
